Surprise!

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you had a great weekend! For the past two weeks I have been secretly helping plan a surprise party for one of my best friends Caitlin and thankfully I was able to keep quite the whole time! Caitlin's boyfriend Chris came up with the idea and from start to finish did an amazing job with getting everything ready! You earn major boyfriend points Chris!
I have never helped throw a surprise party for anyone before and wasn't sure what all I was suppose to do, so I started contacting a bunch of Cait's closest friends and was surprised with all of the sweet responses I got back! From there, I gathered up some supplies and made posters and signs to serve as decorations and even picked up a yummy cookie cake that I got decorated with Caitlin's favorite color, hot pink!

I was super happy AND excited when Megan from For All Things Lovely and Bethany from B Soup told me they would be able to make it as well! I had heard Caitlin talk only great things about these two and knew it would be the icing on the cake for them to be there...and I mean, what kind of party is fun without some bloggers in tow?!

Other then the surprise party, Will and I pup-sat and my dear friend Amanda came and visited for the weekend! I showed her all around Charlotte, we ate out for breakfast, lunch and dinner every single day and I even got her hooked to Orange is the New Black. On that topic, who is upset that Season Three was recently cancelled? I give two thumbs down for that decision.

Overall, my weekend was a busy one but so much fun!! It's just what I needed, and I thank God everyday for blessing me with one-of-a-kind friendships :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment! I will usually respond back to you via email (not here on the blog)...It's easier for me that way and hopefully it sparks a conversation for us! It makes me giddy that you're here and took the time to leave me a comment :)
