5 on Friday

November 1st. Oh how I am excited to see you! I am excited to celebrate turning 25. I am excited for Will to spend Thanksgiving with my family. I am excited to blog more intentionally (many fun topics to come)! But most of all, I am excited that this is a month full of thankfulness! Since there is so much to give thanks to, I'd like to use my 5 on Friday link-up today to do just that :) Enjoy!

ONE
Family. It might come as a cliche that I am thankful for my family...but I truly am. I don't know what I would do without my parents. I can't imagine how my life would be shaped if it wasn't for the way they raised me. They have stood by my side time and time again, never giving up on me, and always loving on me when I needed it the most.

TWO
WAM. William Anthony Mackvick. Yeah....he is pretty great. We met in January of 2010, when he was the goalie for NC State. We officially started dating that May. We will be celebrating 3.5 years together this Sunday and I couldn't be more thankful and appreciative for having him in my life. No, it was not love at first sight, but my love for Will is much more "real" and deep then I ever could have possibly imagined it would be. We have grown into stronger Christian's because of our relationship. We are complete opposites but opposites really are good for each other. Will is my encouragement. My rock. And someone I know is a "keeper" ;)
THREE
Pinterest. Okay...Okay...I know what you might be thinking! She is thankful for Pinterest? Really? Well, yeah. I am. I have been able to use this website as a way to find new bloggers, learn new recipes, create some affordable and easy DIY crafts, read through a ton of quotes, and so much more. This site has become an outlet when I need inspiration or a "break" for the world. I never get bored on this site. I am always able to find something new that I can share with others. And I don't find it a waste of my time (I mean, there are some days when I may spend too long on it I will admit). But I really am glad that there are sites like this one that have been so useful and resourceful over the past year :)

FOUR
I'm thankful that I get to go to Cline's Country Antiques tomorrow in Mount Pleasant, NC with Lindsay Wynne to do a photo shoot for her portfolio! Think Garden and Gun type photography...that's her aim! Lindsay is talented and so sweet and I'm excited to help her and can't wait to share some photo with you all later this month!

FIVE
Charlotte, NC. I am so happy to be living in this city! Will and I have been able to explore local favorite's and have even come across some hidden gems that we have claimed as our "go-to" spots for food. I am thankful to be living in Charlotte also for the fact that it's so close to a number of other cities; Greensboro, Raleigh, Asheville to name a few. There are tons of events always going on, and it's truly a great place to raise a family, and is perfect for me and where I am in my life right now.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment! I will usually respond back to you via email (not here on the blog)...It's easier for me that way and hopefully it sparks a conversation for us! It makes me giddy that you're here and took the time to leave me a comment :)
